I'm getting a better camera soon (it's already ordered and due to arrive in the next days), so hopefully I'll also regain my photographing routine with a new kick.

Never mind that I already have a ton of pictures scheduled for publishing here taken with the old cam, that didn't make it online yet just because of being too bored or too busy to upload them. If you still see pictures with a lower quality than some being uploaded in my gallery, that's the explanation .

My life has been pretty hectic these last two years. I've moved to Germany, started a second Phd in Anthropology at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (at the same time with the one in sociology going on in Bucharest), I have more plans and projects than I can ever hope to actually pursue while a day is still composed of 24 hours (including finally finishing my children's book) etc etc.
There are also A LOT of things going on in my personal life (but all are good things), a lot of changes I'll have to adapt to etc.
The point is I don't have much time for deviantart. But your occasional messages are welcome and received very warmly, trust me. I've made some pretty cool friends here and I'll always enjoy browsing your galleries and catching up, though I won't be around as often as most of you guys

I'm a lot into food photography too lately (and cooking also, when I find the time - it relaxes me and puts me in my zen spot) - maybe I'll feature a few things here though I doubt it - I have a separate blog for that.

That's pretty much it.

Looking forward to the seasonal joy about to kick in soon (yes, I'm one of those people who enjoy it, even with all the kitschiness).
